Yes everything is ok, yes I am still here, and why I haven't been posting.

Here it is.So the same week I turned 30, and the same week I found out I was pregnant, I also found out that we might have to move. Well it is official. Bj has gotten a new job and we are moving. I will no longer be living fifteen minutes away from every home I have ever had. I will be leaving my parents, my friends (some which I have had since I was well, BORN) my job, and my brand new Target complete with Starbucks. Oh and did I mention the Chick-fil-a? Yes. That should be done soon.

Did I mention I am doing all of this while pregnant? If everything in the universe aligns we will be moving in January, if not we may have to move twice, or Bj may have to move and I will stay here, or we just might not sell the house at all.

So had enough of my whining yet? Well this is why I guess I haven't shared this info until now. I guess I wanted one place where I didn't have to think about it, but this is my life, this is my journal about my life, and I haven't been very truthful to my future self about what is going on if I didn't mention it. Anyway, I have spent the week running around like a chicken with my head cut off because Bj has been gone doing things by myself (and with the help of my Mom, Dad and Heather-thanks for the airport run.) I am hoping to get back on track and as soon as I can I will post the pictures that I missed-I did take them, just didn't edit them. Here's to sitting on my bum for a few days editing pictures, eating bon bons and picking my teeth...until the showings start.

I have been thinking about you, and wondering about your move, all while pregnant. When is the baby due? Will you at least have a couple of months to get settled before the baby is born?
You can do it. I hope everything goes as smooth as it possibly can. :)

Don't forget that there is a very real possibility that you could end up LOVING your new home, and meeting all kinds of wonderful people you'd be sad not to know. And take it from me, no matter how far away you are from friends and family, they are still friends and family and you'll still be in touch with them on a very regular basis. And I say this living about as far away as I could in the continental US.

Take care, don't overdo it, and trust that this could be a really good thing.

Hurray for pregnancy "pick me up" days! You have gotten so much done. Anything you need I'm here, but I'm sure gonna miss you.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Marie that this all pans out. I thought moving 8 hours away was bad enough - I can't imagine moving farther than this.

Funny thing, Marie, I was just thinking about you today- where has she been, I thought!

Moving has an adventurous side to it, too- just think of all the new friends you will get to make in another part of the country :)

One of your saddest posts for me. I will surely miss being able to just to stop by and deliver Lily a new outfit or something for your sweet tooth. I love you, Bj and Lillian so much. I am just so hopeful that we will all be able to visit often! A little traveling might be good for your home-body sister-in-law!

Not that it makes it too much easier, but I'm here, we do have fancy Targets, and chik-fil-a.

I tried.

Listen to your wise sister Katherine. A friend moving to a cool new town makes a great place for friends in the old town to visit too!

Katherine makes a good point! BUT - that still doesn't make me happy you're moving away! I like having my long-lost-twin only a half-hour away. :)

Marie,
I do know a little tiny bit about what you are going through when it comes to cleaning and selling a house with a two year old around! We just decided to list our house for sale and ITS NOT EASY keeping things clean when you have a toddler following you around un-doing everything!! (Like inviting The Cat in the Hat into the house!!) :) Good luck with everything and take it as easy as you can while being pregnant!

good girl. Now....breathe! And, Katherine's right. There is a very strong possibility that you will love it.

Marie - the one good thing about moving when I was pregnant with Evan was I barely had to do a thing. Mike took care of all the packing. I don't know if BJ would like to hear that though :0)

Mike and I occasionally talk about what if's because the possibility of a move is always a part of his job. It would be hard leaving so many great family and friends and going to a new place, but exciting as well.
So many wise and wonderful comments from everyone here!!
