"I Don't Know How She Does It" by Allison Pearson. Chick lit, written well.

Or maybe Middlesex? Because you do have our copy. You could read it and give it back to me so you don't have to carry it back with you. I love, love, love that book.

Babyproof by Emily Giffin?

I just finished Time Traveler's Wife, but i'm pretty sure i'm the last person on the continent to read it so...

I also really enjoyed Sweet Ruin by Cathi Hanuer. Interesting subject matter, but really well written.

You will ABSOLUTELY not go wrong with Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Just carve out some time, because you will have a hard time putting it down. I have been trying to get people to read this FOREVER and now all of the sudden everyone is listening and I haven't found anyone who doesn't love it yet. (It is the first in a series not yet completely, but it can stand well alone - don't let this stop you.) Seriously, I can't say enough about this book......

I was just going to chime in and say Middlesex too. I see that Katehrine agrees. I LOVED it too.

I'd say Laura Lippman, but you won't read her. They are mysteries... and I know you. :)

I just finished The True and Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters by Elizabeth Robinson. It's more than a year old, but I'm always a little behind schedule. I would highly recommend it, though. Really good book!!!

I'd love to offer a title, but I'm afraid that the only books I've read lately are Supernanny (as in Jo Frost from the television series) and Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child (at Elizabeth and Suzanne's suggestion).

Good luck!
