Please tell me he was kidding.

Late last night before we went to sleep Bj and I were having the name talk as we are still just calling V 2.0 "the boy." The last name Bj suggested was...and get ready for it, take a deep breath, I am not kidding, THOR. You know, like the Thor from Adventures in Babysitting? I am going to pretend that he was kidding, although I don't necessarily think that was the case. What do you think?

Robot love

Well Tara Reid is once again living in my house. And although I am over the flu, I have been coughed on, sneezed on, and generally ahemgrosssnottedgrossahem on and now feel my body saying enough is enough you will be sick as a dog by tomorrow if not by tonight. Great. But enough of this whiny whiny complaining.

Tara, oh I mean Lily is sitting next to me reading my sewing machine user manual, old Art Continuum brochures, and scrapbooking "masaginzes," {Mama is so proud} so I have an opportunity to do some searching. Wanna know what I found? Robot love. Elizabeth and I snuck away from a quick trip to Paper Source and I found "the boy's" theme. ROBOTS. It started with some cute paperfollowed by a stamp to match (can't find the image.) And this present from Aunt Elizabeth
When we got back to E's I casually browsed through the Back to Basics toy catalog and found these Can you see the monster being born before your eyes?
Then I came home and went straight to Etsy. WHOO HOO. Look at these by one of my favorite Etsy artists!!and this onsieand this
I could go on and on...and on, but you get the picture. I'm in love. Robot love.

We interrupt this unscheduled break

to inform you that I will be back soon with stories and pictures of our eventful trip to Maryland and Virginia, but Lily is sick (cold,) I am sick (either food poisoning or flu) and Bj will probably be sick momentarily as he was up with Lily all night. We now return you to this boring blog break. BEEP.

Some stuff

1. Project Runway. WHOO HOO. SO glad it is back. And for the record I am 2 for 2. Called the winner and loser last night.
2. Lily's conversations lately have made me laugh hysterically. Here's another one from this morning after she asked for more Kix.
Lily: A smidge.
Mama: What?!?!?
Lily: A smidge!
Mama: Did you just say a smidge???
Lily: Sorry. Don't listen.
Seriously? too darn cute.
3. Anybody want to know what we are having? Well, I am sorry to inform but you have to wait until after Thanksgiving. Bj wanted to wait until the baby was born for people to find out. I have him down to next Thursday. You may now join Elizabeth and Katherine as people no longer speaking to me ;p
4. To make it up to you, here are some layouts I have done recently.
5. Still mad? Here is a cute picture I took yesterday.
6. Oh you're still angry? Take it up with the management. While you are at it, tell him to update his blog. May 12? I am tired of the Wingdings already.
7. Lily knows all the words to "I'm not perfect" again, really cute. :)
8. I can't wait to decorate my house for Christmas tomorrow night. Seriously. So excited.
9. We are trekking to Baltimore on Sunday to find a cute town to live in. If anyone has any ideas let us know. We are considering Pennsylvania as well.
10. OK. Seriously you can't wait? You are that upset with me? Well I guess for hanging in this long you can know. It's a boy!

Ten on Tuesday

1. Lily is finally getting over her cold. Whoo hoo.
2. She now says "oh my goodness gracious." Seriously? Can you get any cuter?
3. I made some Pillsbury Cinnamon Swirl bread late last night. What can I say I NEEDED some Cinnamon Swirl bread.
4. I used to take dance classes with a girl named Cinnamon. And yes, even though we were kids I knew she was an extra tall blond girl who was going to be a heartbreaker.
5. We had another open house Sunday. Guess how many people came. Did you guess more than no one? If you did you lose.
6. Can I be a little more Debbie Downer?
7. I scrapped with Shelly on Friday. I will scan my layouts soon and post :)
8. The ultrasound of the century is on Thursday. More on that later.
9. I am decorating for Christmas on Saturday. Just try and stop me.
10. And here you go Daddy. Proof of right handedness ;)

For Nicole

My circle journal for this month. And for the record when I bought the purse I did realize that there were upside down birdies on it, but I did NOT realize there were birdies with peace written backwards. So thankyouverymuch for that Nicole ;)I also realized that I miss scrapbooking! In all of the selling the house, pregnancy, moving craziness I haven't done much lately, but I truly enjoyed actually getting some paper out and playing. I really need to do this more often :)

A sad day

Thanks to numerous emails and phone calls, I was informed this week that on Tuesday the great Broadway star Robert Goulet had died of pulmonary fibrosis. Many know our history with Robert Goulet if you don't, you can read about it here. I am sorry for his family and friends and thought hard about whether or not it would be appropriate to discuss his passing, but I decided that a man who could do the Emerald Nuts commercial definitely had a sense of humor and may not mind forever being Bj's arch nemesis. So we will honor Robert Goulet with many more years of telling and retelling the now seemingly famous story and think of him every time Bj dons his GOULET! shirt. We will miss you Mr. Goulet and your ever so helpful grammar corrections.
